Sporting 95% gilt, a perfectly straight shank and wartime backmark, this coat-size Maine button will be the centerpiece of any display of federal state seals. Or, if you own a VMM buckle, you might want to pick this up and put it in the same case. Maine buttons are not super-rare but they are much harder to find dug than non-dug. And then to find one with this amount of gilt and in this condition really is a true rarity. This button has no cracks, pushes, repairs or problems of any kind.
