Minnesota items are hard to come by. This particular ribbon was likely associated with the 2nd Minnesota Cavalry, but it could've been worn by any veteran of the mounted services from the Gopher State.

It is in top condition and has no tears, holes or damage to the celluloid button. There is some minor staining but it does not effect the text. Some of the text is difficult to read but only because of the actual construction of the ribbon. It was meant to be worn in this way.
